Arunachala Deepam Preparations
Preparations for Deepam begin long before the start of the Festival. In 2014 a new Theepal was created - i.e. float for the Gods to enjoy the last days of the Festival on the waters of the Ayyankulam Tank (in front of Arunagirinathar Temple).

In addition to the Theepal, preparations include lights put up all around Arunachaleswarar Temple and touch-ups and repainting of Vahanas that will be used during the upcoming Festival.
